I never really know what you're supposed to write in these things. Do people really want to read a hundred different stories about what people did on the fourth of July weekend? Do they really want to read about how people are being forced into getting pregnant for the sake of the vampire's that run this town? You know how people always say that no one really cares about you as much as you care about you? I think that's true. But I suppose that's all people can do. Human people, I mean. Vampires who hate it here and hate how humans are treated and the horrible unfair rules and still stick around are the ones I really don't understand.

There's this special on TV about conjoined twins.

I think it would have been ridiculously silly if we remained attached since we weren't really connected like most are and sometimes I also wish we'd been more combined, you know?

Anyway. The Council sent me this paper a long time ago about the steps needed to Turn you. I'm just not sure how to answer some of these questions. Why the fuck do they care anyway? What business of it is there's who a vampire makes a vampire. The asshole that turned me sure didn't give a shit.

I thought when a human was given a silver bracelet it meant that other vampires weren't allowed to do anything to them. What's the point of having a system like that if no one respects the rules?
